Local Pork
 

Our pork is purchased at a local livestock market OR from a local farm and butchered in southern Pennsylvania.  You will see the difference that quality makes and your purchase will support a local farm.

Locally purchased food is an important part of maintaining family farms and reducing greenhouse gases. We eliminate thousands of miles of transport and keep the money in our local economy and the manure is returned to the soil as fertilizer. Try this sampling of great meat year-round.

Custom-Select Pork: Prices and Services

*Entire Hog: $2.05 per pound (hanging weight)

  1. Average total cost: $395 approximate average of $2.60 per pound of all cuts.

  2. Includes all cuts from the hog

  3. Fills a 10 cubic ft. freezer (will feed 5 people for 1 year)

  4. Great for large families or split among friends!

  5. $150 deposit required

    Allow 2 weeks for delivery from receipt of deposit


 

*Side: $2.30 per pound (hanging weight)

  1. Average total cost: $225; approximate average of $2.295 per pound of all cuts.

  2. Includes all cuts from the hog

  3. Fills an 5 cubic ft. freezer (will feed 2-3 people for 1 year)

  4. Our most popular order!

  5. $100 deposit required

  6. Delivery will occur upon a second purchase of a side or 2 months, whichever comes first.

Add $15 (half) or $30 (whole) for country ham.
Add $10 (half) or $20 (whole) for cured bacon.

 

*These prices include all butchering costs.

Butchering conducted locally by Eader’s Meats  (USDA inspected).

All orders are delivered for pick up to our farm in Hedgesville, WV cut, wrapped and frozen.

Prices will vary depending on the weight of the animal. Delivery locations negotiable.
