Pastured Chicken!

We raise our chickens with the benefit of fresh air and sunshine- a novelty these days. They are rotated daily onto new grass which insures clean forage and supplies them with more vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids.

New: We have a new breed of chicken available called, "Freedom Ranger." It is a breed specific to pasturing. It eats more grass and takes longer to mature. Therfore, it contains more omega-3.

Price for the "Freedom Ranger": $3.15 p/lb.

Price for the traditonal "Cornish Cross": $2.95 p/lb.

Pastured chickens produce a product that is lean and delicious. Pastured poultry raised with the benefit of fresh air and green pastures are healthier and high in omega-3 fatty acids. Our methods return chicken manure directly to the soil so there is no toxic run-off into our streams. No hormones or antibiotics are ever used. Try this sampling of great meat year-round.

Pastured Chicken: Prices and Services
(Prices are for live chickens, cleaning and butchering are free)

Whole Chicken: $2.95 per pound

Average total cost: $13.00.
Includes giblets (gizzard, heart, liver, etc.)
A whole chicken will feed 5 people for 1 meal.

Whole Chicken (cut-up): $2.95 per pound plus $2 per bird.
(NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE)
