“Corn-fed Beef!”

Provided by one of our partner farms, this beef is finished in a feedlot. It is raised and butchered locally on a small scale that makes a smaller environmental impact than the large factory farms.

Locally purchased food is an important part of maintaining family farms and reducing greenhouse gases. We eliminate thousands of miles of transport and keep the money in our local economy. Try this sampling of great meat year-round.

All of these orders are subject to WV sales tax.

Corn-fed Beef: Prices and Services

*Entire Beef: $2.69 per pound (hanging weight)

• Total cost of a 600lb. carcass: $1,614

• Includes all cuts from the beef (if you keep soup bones, liver, heart, tongue, etc. you get more for the money). Expect a 60-65% yield from hanging weight if you keep all cuts. Expect a 50-55% yield if you only keep ground, roast, and steak.

• Fills a 18 cubic ft. freezer (will feed 8 people for 1 year)

• Great for large families or split among friends!

• $300 deposit required for your purchase of live animal

*Side: $2.99 per pound (hanging weight)

All orders are delivered for pick up to our farm in Hedgesville, WV cut, wrapped and frozen. Delivery location and times may be negotiable.

Prices will vary depending on the weight of the animal.
