• Our layers are Rhode Island Reds and Bards - breeds familiar to small farms NOT commercial varieties. 
• They are ROTATED to fresh pasture on a regular basis.  This produces a healthier egg with more Omega-3 fatty acids.
• Regular rotation also prevents build up of nitrogen from manure that is a major pollutant in our water.
• You will see the difference in the DEEP YELLOW YOLK that comes from our hen's access to green grass.
